Roger "the rocket" Clemens has been saved by the bell so to speak. Actually by a mistrial. In the beginning of all this, it would've been easier for him to say "ok...I use to shoot up with steroids." His arrogance wouldn't let him be honest with congress. Instead, he lied to congress. He wanted fans to believe he was still dominant that late in his career with out the aid of drugs. The real issue here is congress. Those dirty so and so's didn't have anything to do but to waste tax payers money on the Major League Baseball Steroid hearings. Was it a matter of national security? Were Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Alex Rodriguez being watched by the C.I.A.? This is a true fleecing of America.
