Roger Clemens...MISTRIAL!

Roger "the rocket" Clemens has been saved by the bell so to speak.  Actually by a mistrial.  In the beginning of all this, it would've been easier for him to say "ok...I use to shoot up with steroids."  His arrogance wouldn't let him be honest with congress.  Instead, he lied to congress.  He wanted fans to believe he was still dominant that late in his career with out the aid of drugs.

The real issue here is congress.  Those dirty so and so's didn't have anything to do but to waste tax payers money on the Major League Baseball Steroid hearings.  Was it a matter of national security?  Were Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Alex Rodriguez being watched by the C.I.A.?  This is a true fleecing of America.

Derek Jeter's 3000th Hit

Can he do it?  Well of course he could and he did.  Congratulation goes out to Derek Jeter for his 3000th hit in Major League Baseball.  It came on July 09, 2011 at a home game against the Tampa Bay Rays (formally Devil Rays).  Rays pitcher David Price threw him a pitch he couldn't refuse.  With that being done, Mr. Jeter hit the snot out of that ball resulting in a home run.  So I guess a thank you is order to David Price as well.  Yes, thank you for delivering such an obvious pitch.

The Yankees ended up winning the game 5-4.  Jeter's hit was the game winner.
